What go you into Pilates?: As a form, ballet dancer, and teacher, one of the studios I was working at started offering Pilates mat classes. I signed up and loved it from the start. Then started adding Pilates equipment work as well. I loved the concentration and technique. Focus that Pilates has, rather than the midnless exercise. After several years as a dedicated student, I decided to enroll in the Power Pilates comprehensive training program. And since then have enrolled in almost every type of continuing Ed that was offered. I love it today just as much as I did back then.
How long have you been an instructor?: Over 20 years!
Favorite Pilates exercise?: Pull-Ups on the Wunda chair
Why do you love teaching at Move Studio?: I love teaching at Move Studio because of the PEOPLE. The clients and all the instructors and staff make a fun, safe, comfortable environment to teach in, and with every class I teach I hope I add to the positive environment.
Describe your style of teaching?: When I teach, I try to add an aspect of fun, camaraderie, while being challenging and energetic. I try to make sure that each and every studemt/client receives a deeper understanding and experience of Pilates every time they come in.
