Our Classes

Our Essential, Evolve, and Elevate levels are designed to create a safe, effective, and rewarding experience for everyone. They allow instructors to teach a group’s shared abilities while ensuring clients continue to progress and feel appropriately challenged throughout their Pilates journey.

“The Move Method levels are intended to support your growth—not limit it. We’re here to guide you every step of the way so you can move with confidence, consistency, and success.”

If you’re new to reformer Pilates, recovering from an injury, or looking to build a strong foundation, we recommend starting with Essential level classes. Our instructors will help you determine whether Essential, Evolve, or Elevate is the best fit based on your movement quality, confidence, and understanding of the exercises.

Yes. Evaluation happens naturally during class. Our instructors continuously assess form, control, consistency, and understanding of the repertoire to ensure you are at the level where you’ll be both challenged and successful.

Self-awareness is an important part of Pilates, but we won’t leave you to figure it out alone. We encourage you to listen to your body and share your goals, while our instructors provide professional feedback and recommendations.

Progression is a collaborative process. While we encourage you to reflect on how confident and capable you feel, your instructors will provide guidance and recommendations when they believe you’re ready to advance to the next level.

Our goal is to keep every client safe and set up for success. If an instructor determines that a different level would better support your current abilities, they may recommend another class. We will do our best to help you find an appropriate alternative as quickly as possible. However, because classes can fill, placement in another class cannot always be guaranteed, which is why we encourage clients to seek instructor guidance before registering for a higher-level class.

Possibly. Clients with significant reformer Pilates experience may be recommended for a higher starting level after discussing their background with an instructor or member of our studio management staff and/or demonstrating the skills required for an Elevate class.
