What got you into Pilates?: I tried Pilates on the reformer about 6 months after having my second child. I absolutely loved how it felt in my body and that it required me to focus on myself at that moment!
How long have you been an instructor?: Since June 2022
Why do you love teaching at Move Studio?: I love the positive energy! Every client may have a different reason for being in class, but they all share a common goal to work hard for success. The instructor cueing and modifications are top notch! It’s not uncommon to hear clients walking out saying, "I feel so much better than when I came in." That makes me smile!
Describe your style of teaching: I really like to focus on form and flow in my classes. I am there to help my clients reap all the benefits of pilates with correct body positioning, breathing, pace of movement, etc. And, as a dancer growing up, I enjoy “choreographing” my classes to strengthen, lengthen, and tone the body from head to toe!
